About BaseGap
Too often, decisions about our cities, homes and community spaces overlook the everyday stories and emotions of the people who live there. We exist to change that, revealing the human side of urban life through research, storytelling and shared experience.

Our Mission
BaseGap is a social enterprise focused on centering the lived experiences of young adults (35 and under) and understanding how the places they live, work and play shape their wellbeing. We explore the everyday realities of city living: the challenges, the joys and the small details that often go unseen.
Through research, storytelling and cultural engagement, we uncover insights that help shape more inclusive, people-led approaches to homes, spaces and cities. Our work sits at the intersection of housing, design, community and placemaking, bringing young adults into conversations they’re often left out of.
Our mission is to ensure that real voices, ideas and lived realities guide how environments are created, not as an afterthought, but as a starting point. We’re building a platform that supports young adults with resources, opportunities, workshops and creative interventions that reflect real urban life and inspire meaningful change.
